An educationist by profession, Jamil has
worked in Pakistan, Kashmir, Saudi Arabia and Canada
as an ESL /EFL teacher and academic coordinator for
over twenty years. He learnt Tajweed from Saudi
Arabia where he taught English at a university for
seven years. He established Burlington Qur'an
Academy when he moved to Burlington Ontario in 2014.
